he is the Grandfather of Emma and Lori and the husband of Bridget. Now here's fun facts of Eli.
1. Eli was suppose to be a traveler like the Traveler. In fact Eli mention an princess, a toon and a lost girl.
2. Eli is full on British.
3. Eli would have been the Writer's mentor figure. Due to rewrites it seem that Eli didn't fit anywhere except after Emma's Death. But he does become her mentor since he knew and married a reality lord.
4. During WWII, Bridget and Eli build a house with two other Reality Lords who would be Emma's mother Gwen's Parents (George and Regina Jensen)
5. Eli flip off Hitlar and called him a coward in German.
6. Eli would join the Network as a recommendation from Doctor Time
7. Originally The Writer would help Bridget get with Eli but it would be Doctor Time instead.
8. If this character had a film I would chose Tom Baker, Peter Davidson, Jim Broadbent, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy or John Hurt or Peter Capaldi as Old Eli. To play his younger self it would be either David Tennat, Christopher Ecceleston, Paul McGann or Matt Smith. Why those actors...well when I came up the concept with Emma she would have some sort of connection with Doctor Who metaphorical not literally. Which is why I pick four actors who played the Doctor to be her grandfather.
9. While creating Emma's origin story. Her father would awfully like David Tennat. Since James, Emma's father looked like Eli except his eyes.
10. On Halloween Eli dress up as Horror actor Peter Cushing.
11. Eli inspiration would be the Doctor, Peter Cushing and Merlin.
12. Eli's favorite sport is cricket.
